I liked the idea of Wordless Wednesday for a blog, the idea of just snapping a photo to capture part of your day and posting it to your blog. I tried it a few times. It just never seemed to gel for me. For one thing, Wednesday always seems to be the day with the least amount of interesting things going on around here. I always seem to be writing up the grocery list, serving leftovers instead of some fabulous meal and clearing up clutter scattered all over the house. I might be wrong but I suspect that a series of photos of the detritus from my fridge, my grocery list or before and afters of my picked up living room are not going to be inspiring repeat visits, even from my friends. So I've decided to aim for Photos on Friday : a weekly summary of photos. Hopefully, it'll inspire me to get my camera out more often.
Since I've been such an uninspired blogger, you get photos from the entire month of May, instead of just one week.
The beginning of May was time for the show for the Geisler's dance school. This was her favourite out of the 6 costumes she wore (Please excuse the backdrop. High school cafeterias aren't generally known for their lovely decor).
The rest of May has been all about the garden.
And now we're waiting (im)patiently for strawberry season to start.
(We were waiting when I snapped the picture. A few minutes later, we declared the season open and picked it to have for dessert tonight.)
Thanks for stopping by.
